Important Blog Update!

Hi all. This is a very important update to let you all know that I’ve decided to stop publishing. Yes, Current Gift Shop Value is closing its doors after three years and almost 350 posts.

Why, might you ask? Lack of interaction. There are extremely few likes, reposts, retweets, etc on my articles, extremely few donations, and low to no participation in my contests. Let me put it this way – I don’t feel encouraged to run this blog anymore.

Yes, I posted before about contemplating stopping and a few people tried to convince me to stay – and I did for a while. But now, faced with a backlog of updates and the recent non-interest in the scoreboard contest, I’ve made my decision.  Also, it would seem that WordPress is now forcing me to use their new interface – which I very much dislike.

Feel free to find me in the various games – I tend to use the same IGN: Jarod997. Also, I’m usually part of the Clan/Guild/Battalion: CS7 – Christian Soldiers 7th Division. If you’re interested, check us out – we operate a number of groups in various games (not just tank/vehicle games), including (but not limited to) Clash of Clans, Call of Duty, Star Trek Online, and Minecraft.

Good fun, have luck!

Happy New Year – 2016!

This is just a post to say hi and let you know I’m working on the catchup. Yes, I did try to get some posting done during the holidays, but with the amount of travelling I did, it just wasn’t possible.

An update on the Scoreboard Contest – no one entered. 😦 *cries* I guess I’ll just have to make one myself. 😛 Well, I guess the term “free money” doesn’t work here? Wait, this is a blog about saving money… I’m confused.

WoWp: New Chinese IL-10M!

This is a bit of a stub post. As I don’t have a Gold value for the new Chinese IL-10M there’s not much point in posting it. If anyone has it, please let me know.

Wargaming is having a Secret Santa event on for each of their three titles. The more presents you send, the more you receive. Makes sense. I’m assuming that they will amalgamate gifts coming to you to so that you get perhaps one larger gift instead of 25 small ones. This promotion is going on for Tanks, Warplanes and Warships separately. This promotion lasts from December 17 2015, to January 4 2016. I’m curious – post what you’ve been getting!

Armored Warfare has a big update tomorrow which they’re being tight lipped about. Stay tuned for that.

WoT: 12 Days of Tanksmas; WoWp: Pioneers of the Sky

No, it’s not your imagination – they posted the 12 Days of Tanksmas again, and they did change a couple things. See inside for details.

Score Board Contest – Entries post

It’s down to the wire as the last five days are here. Contestants submit your entries here!

WoWs: Enter the Weekend Ultimate Tirpitz Pass, Captain!

Heh. Warships FTW this weekend.

WoT: On Track to the IS-4; WoWp: December Shop 2; AW: December Discounts

We have today: World of Tanks: On Track to the IS-4 (heavy on the missions, light on the bundles), the RETURN of the Nine Reindeer’s (two days only!); World of Warplanes: December Premium Shop 2; Armored Warfare: December Discounts, and a new feature.

WoWs: Cruising for Santa

T’would seem that World of Warships is the only game to have a dedicated weekend package this time around! Ten points to Warships!

Pre-Christmas Wargaming Specials

All three titles have a bunch of specials out.
